Dropstone has been awarded a mandate by the French Agency for Development (Agence Française de Développement – AFD) to carry out a socio-anthropological study in remote villages located in three regions bordering Mali and Senegal. The aim was to better understand the intercommunal dynamics and challenges and the local conflict resolution mechanisms, in order to ensure a smooth implementation of infrastructure and other development projects financed by AFD. Advisory Services – Senegalese Authorities and Youth Reintegration

Following the evaluation of a European Union–financed project implemented by the Government of Senegal, Dropstone was engaged by the Humanitarian Dialogue Centre to provide backstopping support for the reintegration of vulnerable youth from the Casamance region through professional training. Building on the evaluation findings, Dropstone supported the Government of Senegal in strengthening the relevance, quality, and sustainability of reintegration measures targeting at-risk youth.
